Hi, For this section of the exam you will be taught either a set of 6 poems by one poet or a short play. In the exam you would receive a short extract from the play or a copy of one of the poems. You would then answer 12 marks worth of questions on the extract or poem in front of you and then a final 8 marks on both the extract / poem and at least one other poem or other areas of the poem. For this second part you would not be expected to learn quotations. The play option is 'Bold Girls' by Rona Munro and then poems by Norman MacCaig or Carol Ann Duffy. Feel free to google the texts and have a think about which you would prefer.
