Hi all,
I've just seen a message asking about how best to structure a question which looks at relationships in the play.
It's most likely that you'll be asked about a relationship in a way that suggests a shared understanding, conflict or love or even just on a male/female interaction. For all cases, you'd be best to pick Proctor and Elizabeth as they are key characters and there's plenty to say about them.
As for structure, it's best to follow the same set up as a theme or a key scene essay - depending on the demands of the question! What I mean by that is, if you're asked about their love then you would focus on writing about the progression of their relationship throughout the acts. If you were to write about any issue/negativity e.g. conflict in their relationship, you'd need to focus on a key scene structure as this will give you a more in-depth focus on where the moment of conflict occurs and how it is resolved.
Come back to me if you have other questions or you need something clarified.
