Hi everyone,
Just to let you all know what was decided about our meeting arrangements until the October holidays:
Mondays:
Event - LIVE after-school debate
Venue - EN1
Time - 3.45-4.30pm
Topic - tbc closer to debate. In the weeks leading up to the Referendum the topics will be related to Independence.
Thursdays:
Event - Short meeting
Venue - EN1
Time - 1.10-1.35pm (feel free to bring lunch!)
Topic - discussion of relevant news stories or upcoming events/trips (including Model United Nations!)
Topics aggreed for future debates:
1. Artificial Intelligence
2. Gaza conflict
3. Pilots and policemen carrying guns
4. Circumcision and Female Genital Mutilation
5. Ukraine/Russia conflict
6. Gun violence in America

A reminder that we head to the Book Festival on Wednesday 20th August. Meet in the foyer at 9.10pm, returning to school by 12.30pm. If you haven't already returned your form or £3, make sure you do so as soon as possible!
