Okay, here is the updated version. All you are doing is writing your FIRST paragraph on the closing lines. Explain in that first paragraph what themes the closing lines show. THen in the next paragraphs you show how the theme has been shown throughout the poem. For example: P1-In the closing lines of X, the themes of ---------- are explored. P2-The poet first uses imagery to explore the themes of the poem. P3-The poet uses word choice to explore the themes of the poem. P4-FInally, the poet also uses repetition to explore the themes of the poem. IT DOESN'T MATTER what ORDER you put P2-P3 in. You ALSO DO NOT have to use the techniques I have mentioned above (for some poems it wouldn't make sense). YOU CAN double up on some techniques-for example write a paragraph on one image and then another paragraph on a further image the writer uses to explore the theme. Attachments:
