It was about eight o’clock in the morning when my dad picked me up to leave we were driving too a little town called Bigger. There were cars going past with Rangers flags and scarves hanging out the windows .We stopped at a small local shop to by a paper, a drink and a sweet.
We arrived on the motorway to go to Manchester around 12:30. There were thousands of cars with rangers every things such as flags, posters, scarves, football tops and even paint on some of the cars, it looked like a sea of blue.
We arrived in Manchester at about 3 o’clock we got a good space to park the car we found out where the rangers fans were. We both got a drink in a near-by pub. My dad met one of his friends that he knew from primary school and we were with him for a bout one hour. There were a lot of footballs being kicked, many hitting people with drinks; knocking the drinks from their hands. It was funny. Rangers songs were being sung many sectarian. When it was kick off time there was about 100,000 people watching two large plasma screen TV’s . At the final whistle, Rangers were beaten 2-0 when we were Leaving to go to the car there was so much rubbish on the ground. We got back to the car it was about 10 o’clock we folded the seats back and went to sleep I the car. The next morning we got our breakfast and left to go home.
This memory is so important because it was with my dad and it it’ll never happen again. It changed me in so many ways it made me closer to my dad. It is a happy memory because it might not happen again and it was with my dad.
The end
